Online editing of .def text files

Since I edit Mafia on both Windows and Mac, I needed a functional editor for the game’s text files. There’s practically nothing available for Mac, so I decided to create my own editor. The simplest and most cross-platform solution is an online editor. It’s still in its early stages, and not all the kinks have been ironed out yet. If you encounter a problem, please write it in the comments, and I’ll try to resolve it as soon as possible. Your name or nickname will be listed as a tester in the editor’s tab.

How does it work?

It’s simple. The Online Editors tab currently contains two links: Scene.bin (which isn’t working yet—we’ll talk about that another time) and the aforementioned textdb editor. Clicking on either will redirect you to the online application. Don’t worry, nothing is sent anywhere, and all data stays on your PC. You can currently edit, add, and delete strings. Searching by number or entered text should work. I’m still working on improving everything
